Simply blocking port 80 to stop the spread of the Code Red worm was suppsed to be a slapdash solution -- a temporary fix until the necessary software patches were distributed. If that company didn't bother to get the patch (which came out a few days after Code Red was discovered) then they're not only sloppy, but potentially dangerous -- what are they going to do next time a similar worm comes around? Nothing? Shut down altogether? I'd get a new provider if I were you.
