I have had both DSL and Cable in the past year and a half.
I currently use cable(Opimum Online) after I switched from Verizon DSL. I was about 7,000ft to far from my phone Company when I had DSL. This would cause many disconnects and I could not get on at night. My speeds for DSL were also capped at about 768kbps/128kbps. The price was also $50 a month, which is pretty expensive.
Now I have cable and it is so much better, it is faster and I am always connected. The speed cap is 10,000/1,000kb/s, which is amazingly fast for only $34 a month. I usually download at 1MB/S.
So I like Cable better then DSL. There are a lot of people who get better speeds with DSL. Maybe I am just lucky with OOL
