Well, let's see:

Freeware UBBs cannot be legally hacked anymore, and it is against InfoPop's license agreement to modify it in any way, so I can't help him if he has a freeware UBB.

So that leaves the full, licensed UBB. Since we do not condone software piracy, a legit UBB license is needed to prove that the UBB software he has is purchased legitimately.

We can give tips, but if we are to customize it ourselves, like what he is implying, we need to know if we are modifying a legit full version.
