Hmmm, your background has a combination of light and dark colors, so naturally it's difficult to find a font color that would look good on it...

Two suggestions - either modify your background to make it much darker so that light-colored text can show through... or just scrap that background and find a new one...

Okay, try this picture (http://forums.opentechsupport.net/images/canislupus/fourdbz.jpg) as your background and see if it works.

Id say step it up one further and really darken that picture and then cut out the text so it is just image not text on top of text. and finaly make yer background black or a really dark grey like "111111" and just have that background image appear once in the middle of the screen kinda like aheron's call does on www.zone.com. (http://www.zone.com.)

LOL scav

Anyway wachief, the background still needs to be darkened a little, and your text must be white or silver (#C0C0C0) ... But I will strongly follow scav's advise about the background, except for that "image in the middle" thing - it won't work great in varying resolutions, especially since I see you have frames (which I am not a very big fan of)...

Why dont you simply minimize the image to about 150x150 and put it in the top corner of that side frame? and go with a black background? Its a cool image but its not cool enough that you should bombard the user with it. Once is enough 8). But yer not gonna listen to me anyway so im really just talking to myself *crys*

The frames you are using now are somewhat annoying. I need to scroll over to see a lot of the links on the left, and the top banner is not completely visable.

I suggest centering your top banner, and trying to bring the links closer to it. Insert <br> tags before your links on the left so they will create a new line other than extending as they do. Follow Scav's advice and use a darker background with lighter links. Good luck, and if you need any help, just ask.

I dont think those links are put on by him total. they look like the free site puts em there kidna like some pages throw on banners cause all three frames have identical links in the same places.
