Hi I just need some feedback on my new webpage layout. If you can give any suggestions about it or insaults or whatever I just need to know if it is any good. Plus I am tryiing to find a good layout and just can't seem to find one that I like for a sustained period of time.....
If you could look and reply on how it looks t would be great!

Pretty cool site.

Music makes me wanna stand up and salute but after about 2 min makes me wanna puke or throw my speakers out the window. The music works good for your intro but you might wanna think about trashing it on the rest of the pages.

Looks like you guys are a pretty thourough clan but if I joined and hit print screen 500 times and sent em all in i could be commander of the army, something wrong there 8P.

Its a cool idea for an intro, lotta text kinda loses me after a while and maybe think about setting it all up to appear without needing the viewer to scroll, like after the first set of text is done have it fade away or slide of the screen.

Dark blue text on a black black background it a little tough to read but managable.

tables are cool, my web sites are tables inside of tables inside of tables inside of tables inside of tables 3 times over. But table borders can be really annoying if not done carefuly. You can turn them off by setting border="0" in the table properties and anouther thing which i just think looks really sweet and makes places where you want to have a table with a thin colored border such as in these forums, would be to do something like this:

Any of my seggestions are just personal things, your clan members may not even notice or care how it looks, or could even be totaly happy with how it looks now, and thats all thats important.

Can't say that I would let them do that. Besides I double check there stats on battle.net and if they do comp rushes I knock their points off.

Ditch the music, it's not "Royal". And as for the intro, it's ok, but a little cheezy. You may want to remake it so the page will not extend but rather clear for new data.

Try incorporating your header on the right side of the table and brighting up the font some. Try reducing to 1 scrolling marquee and using a more flashy table border color. The same goes for the divider lines. Limit the size of the right table so it doesn't extend off the page creating scroll bars.

yeah drop the music after the intro PLZ hehe and ive got a score of over 1000 wins(think its around 1500 though) and less then 300 losses on bw on an account somewhere can i be leader? hehe jk and i like the colors... didnt look at rest quite busy but it seems kool hehe

Nice site. I am much in agreement with Scav. The music for the intro is good, the up beat James bond music however made me turn down the volume to 0 after a few minutes. I wear glasses and find the blue text on black background very hard to read, and after a while my strained eyes started watering and playing tricks on me. You have an extra "your" under the recruit section under Point Scale. Every time I hit the back button I get a pop up window telling me when the site was last updated. It was mildly annoying. Well actually it was very annoying. Oh and one last thing you may want to consider, It might be a good idea to have an enter button so that repeat customers need not site through the intro every time they want to get access to your clan pages (just for the impatient people I guess). Hope these comments help in any way. :)

LOL, this reminds me of my own Diablo page about four years ago ... I don't know if anyone still remembers it. It was called "The Void" and it had all the cut-and-paste javascript bells and whistles you could slap on a page.

I even had a rotating playlist of gloomy songs ... I even had a metallica playlist on it once (I think Nova once commented on it, hehehe).

Ah, the good ol days...

Anyway, the page isn't bad, aside from a few caveats...

1.) Marquee text can be annoying ... you got TWO of em in your main page ... use only one...

2.) Your hover line appears on TOP of the link itself? Well, altho it is kinda unique, it is also kinda confusing... I don't like it, but I guess it's your style...

3.) Message board colors don't match the site ... maybe you can change your forum's color motif to fit the site?

4.) The splash page has all centered text ... I don't like too much centered text but then again, that's just me...

In any case, it's a good start... you'll eventually learn more HTML skills to fix it up better. But it's a good start... ;)

Ya know it seems to me that think I should drop the music. Can't tell why though. Actually I am redoing the colors. I used to have some pretty bad frames and crap. Really the stuff you are looking at is temporary. I am currently looking at a new proto-type that I think looks pretty good. It is a off black grey with silver text which loooks pretty ez to read but I must have good eyes cuz the blue text looks fine to me. :rolleyes: but I have 20/20 and I am still young so I guess thats what happens. also chako why do you hit back to the main page everytime isn't there a menu bar on each page cuz if there isn't thats bad. Also thanks you ya'll we are getting rid of the point scale which pretty much sucked. Also thanks I will make a page at royal.get-2.com that says ENTER|INTRO just to give them that option. or they can always type the loooong address. When I get this new design done please look at you and I will tell ya'll. Thanks for the input! Also I put a link to this page for all the great help you gave me if thats okay.
