What's the best email client software?

I'm one of the many users of Outlook and Outlook Express. So, I'm getting concerned with security issues.

Is there a more secure, compatible and easy to use email client out there that I should be looking at?

Anybody got some discussion of email clients?

Never tried it but how about Eudora 5.1.1 Email (http://www.eudora.com/email/)

I use Outlook 2002 at home and work. If you disable scripting it works great.

Otherwise there is Foxmail (http://fox.foxmail.com.cn/english.htm). Which I've used in the past and found to be really good.

There is also Pegasus Mail (http://www.pmail.com/).

And there is previously mentioned Eudora (http://www.eudora.com/).

Just depends really on what your looking for, and what kind of functionality. Out of those I like Foxmail and Eudora the most, though the ad version of Eudora is kind of a pain. The full retail version is much better.

I'm mostly interested in your feelings about each product.

Adware is a definite turn-off. Thanks for bringing that up.

Is there a KB Article on making Outlook secure?

Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org), has a good email client and its a good browser too. It allows you to block pop-ups and has tabbed browsing.

Well my feelings on each.

Pegasus Mail - Crappy interface, but it does have a decent contacts interface.

Foxmail - Lots of good features. and a very streamlined interface. I actually like this client a lot, but it doesn't currently sync up with my Palm. They have it listed as being supported in future releases.

Eudora - Another decent client, though the adware version really sucks. The retail version is basically the same but without the ad banner.

Try an E-Mail client called "The Bat". Supposed to have a very high level of security VS the competition.
