I hope somebody out there can help me. If not it's ok. From what I read on posts here many months ago, not too many people were fond of the Morrowind editor. Hopefully someone out there is!
First off, I want to say that I went to the Elder Scrolls website to look at the tutorials, and when I clicked on them I just got an error on page message and it didn't even attempt to load anything. Next, I am not looking to make homes or anything just simple stuff.
What I want to do is make a whole new race and class. Now I was able to put in the options correctly, the major skills, minor skills, etc..and i did the race, the name, and all that etc.... but.... I can't get the character class (which i called advanced assassin) to correspond in the game. I figured it was because I forgot to turn it on so I went and tried to load it and turn it on, and I received about 20 different warnings! Things like animation warning, need to make genereic left/right boot noise, generic water noise, stuff like that. So the thing never loaded back in the construction set. Also, how do I add the animation for a new race? I was going to do an experimental and just use the imperial face temporarily to see if it would work, but how do I get to it? And how do I import spells into a character? If someone out there can help me, please do!
