try spybot, if its still there. it probably just reset your homepage, which you can do again.

Thanks for the reply redwench but i have already tried spybot before adaware , no joy , as it appears NOT to be a running programme, this url not only hijacks homepage at startup but fills the bottom tray with 30-50 different url's and the only way out seems to be task-man end prog, as i say there must be an exe file somewhere but i can't find it by the way i am running on a w2kpro system ....p.s i think this came in on the back of a cracks and hacks site I was redicted to from a biuld your own website url

run msconfig and check startup files. find the path and delete that thing.

thanks again redwench but no msconfig on w2k.....problem now solved as i re-ran spybot with changed settings in tools menu and it led me straight to it (an sys regedit / s sys .reg file ) considering i paid out nearly 50 uk pounds for ad aware pro that could'nt detect it i think a free programme like spybot deserves a donation from me thanks for the recommend
