Newegg.com Question

Here's a short simple question: When it says "Retail Box (Heatsink and Fan included)" does that mean the heatsink and fan is already mounted on the processor, or does that just mean it's included? Yes, I see what it says, but I just didn't knwo if it came mounted :o

err.. unless it comes with a motherboard as well.. no, it's not attached.

The heatsink attaches to the motherboard, not the CPU itself.

Oh, I thought the heastsink attatched to only the actual CPU, not the whole mobo =p

I just ordered a some new parts from newegg, including a processor that said heatsink & fan included. They are not mounted to the processor which is a good thing. This should only be done by you after the package arrives. Trust me.
