i WANT TO MAKE A LOGO "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2004" in eps or ai format how can i make this pl guide me.

I believe you need a program like CorelDRAW or Illustrator (one that supports vector drawing) to save things in .eps or .ai format.
Once you've made your image, choose 'Save As' -- you will be able to select which file format you want to save in.
