Diablo II 1.10 Patch FINALLY Released!

Announced almost two years ago, it looks like Blizzard finally kept up their word and released the long awaited 1.10 patch.

Yes, you're reading correctly, the day has finally come for the Diablo II 1.10 patch! This patch is our largest to date in terms of game changes and offers many new things for Diablo II players, including seasonal ladder characters, more-challenging gameplay, enhanced skills, new items, new anti-cheat measures, a new game-world event, and much much more!

Simply connect to Battle.net to download the patch. We will post the standalone version on our FTP site as soon as it's available.

dude you guys, i was in the game, and then on the top left corner, in dark gold text, it says 13 SOJs sold to merchant, then later, it says 15, then 16, now it says 18 SOJs sold to merchant

i tried to take a screen shot but the color is all dark and messed up, anyways, i think it has something to do with the new 1.10 secert world, what do i do now?!?!

yeah seems like it.

i tried a new character on ladder. it seems ladder character cannot join normal games, meaning your old items cannot be transferred to new ones.

some funny stuffs going on game, such as, '256 sojs sold to merchant' or diablo clone in act1.

it is kind of annoying that you would have to join a channel everytime you exit a game. i mean when you exit game, you will be brought back to the first screen with a character info.

no map hacks allowed, it's whole new ball game.my 22 necro is ranked. lol. get back in d2 guys.

from what i heard:

world events only happen in hardcore mode. when specific amount of sojs sold to merchant, diablo clone will appear in act1, somewhere near a unique boss monster, where players characters playing(so i guess people should be playing in act1) he is almighty diablo unlike act4 diablo, if you kill him, you get a unique charm, which cannot be removed from your inventory, which makes it untradable. but the site says you better run.

So far I like the new patch. I'm having much better luck on nightmare drops with my sorc, and her magic find is between 250-350. The only problem I have is I can't get my barb through the chaos sanct in single player. I used to be able to beat Diablo at lvl 25-28, now I can't even get near the Infector of Souls at lvl 26. Monsters are a little bit tougher these days.

Me, taco, swilo, and 3 other guys started playing yesterday. So far me and taco are the highest with a me being a level 19 sorc, and him an 18 barb.

I and some other friends gave it a whirl for a bit last night. But it was on USWest. I tried to get them to come over to East, but they were too hooked on their lvl 10s by then.

i play ladder Hc thats the only way to go now!!! i mf all the time and sell items on e-bay great way to make a few dollars!!! but i do work 7 days a week now so i play that when i get home....... i know u guys aresaying now what a noob frog still is that still plays the game everyone hates now:) well u know what i do play and i like it they made the game fun with 10 it is actually a cvhallenge now instead of old boring diablo heheh.

A reason to keep playing it, which is a surprise. I'm glad they didn't just let the game die, like they did with the original. All of the people who took advantage of the game seem to be slowly going away, or concentrating harder on making their characters useful.
