Corrupt field encountered in diablo 2 save

i tried to use Jamella's Diablo II hero editor ver. 4.0 beta 9c. when i tried to open up a save file, it said gave me this message:

Corrupt field encountered in save game file! (@ offset 0).

how can i fix this?

Delete the Jamella's editor.

Using editors and trainers will corrupt your game files, making your characters unplayable, especially with Battle.net's new no-cheat policies.

Sorry, there is no way to 'uncorrupt' a game file.

im sorry i should of been more clear. I can still play diablo II with my character, i just cant open it up with jamella editor.
