Starcraft - IS THERE NO WAY?

Is there absolutly no way to make Brood War full screen on my laptop? I know people have said there isn't a way but PLEASE if anyone has any suggestions on how to make the smaller resolution stretch to full screen please please let me know. I have an Inspiron 1100.

have you tried matching your desktop resolution to that used by Starcraft? What's your video card model anyway?

Yeah, even when I change the desktop resolution I get a small box with lots of black space that won't fill up the entire screen. I've seen other posts and heard lots of people say it can't be done so this is a last ditch effort I guess. Any suggestions are appreciated.

alt+enter is generally the hotkey for making things go into full screen mode, have ya tried that?

Starcraft was only made to be played 640 x 480, no higher, no lower.

The problem is that you are using an LCD display on the laptop.

The normal resolution for most laptops is 1024x768. When you go down to 640x480 it will only use a portion of the screen. This is normal and a limitation you have to live with on "non-premium" displays.
