Running Win 98. DSL modem died, replaced. Upgraded MSN to MSN8
now I have to delete the tcp/ip protocol and the reboot the pc and then add the protocol back in, in order to get out on the internet.
contacted MSN tech support. The steps I mentioned above are all they can come up with.
What's confusing - I shut down the pc at the end of the day and when I reboot & log back in - I have to go thru the above mentioned process again.
I have uninstalled MSN8, then reinstalled MSN6. MSN 6 see embedded parts of msn8 and wont continue - so I kinda stuck with msn8.
Does anyone have any ideas for a direction I could take.
