Lately when I have been coming into OTS, I think "Wow, is this a Tech help site, or a Pointless off topic posting site?"
Has anyone else noticed this?
Is this a positive or negative for the site?
I certainly think OTS is a positive on a whole, but should it really be called OT?
I do recognise that there are a large amount of people that contribute constructive help (and problems) to the site, but it seems to be overshadowed by the unconstructive garble (although in moderation does construct a community sense, but so does helping and sharing solutions and problems).
There are so many arguments that relate to this that I'm sure everyone has in the back of their mind, so here is your chance to argue the point of being off-topic instead of "on"-topic (or vice versa) most of the time.
I'm so glad I had the chance to be off-topic for a moment. It was fun, but the novelty is already starting to wear off...
