Hi again,

Just cleaning off my shelfs of old pc games.

I found this game under alot of stuff, and well, I don't think I've ever played this game.

So anywho I installed this game and well the reason I never played it is because the thing crashes at startup.

I then downloaded the most recent patch(v1.09) and looked at EA games tech support.

Nothing, Nada.

I was wondering if you guys can help me out??

you're going to have some trouble running it decently with an MX, but i doubt thats the problem. the thing about EBFD is that it's REALLY finicky. The same thing happened to me because some minor thing got changed somewhere, and even a full out reinstall of the game didn't help.

I ended up reinstalling 98 just to play it. ;)

Yeah, already tried reinstall twice.

I was wondering, is there any other way to get the game to work other than reinstalling XP?

(What I'm getting at is I don't wan't the reinstall to **** with my other games, settings or programs.)

nope. as far as i know, the only way to fix the problem is a compete OS reinstall.

EBFD is a good game though. Its worth it in my opinion.
