If anyone has any ideas on this i need some help. I just got the new civ game and installed it but every time i start it up i click on play then it goes black then a weird scrambled screen comes up with a box saying wrong frequency. I think it's telling me the game runs on 50-100 vf and 50-75 hf but i'm running on 120hf and 90 vf but i have no idea what this means also it got a 20 second countdown that says power management but when it gets to 0 its just a black screen. whats weird is it comes up twice. Once then after 4 or 5 seconds the beginning cutscene starts runs fine and once its done right back to the scrambled screen. it looks like a scrambled porn channel but with no visible image just bands of color. I'm not sure what the O.S. specs are but i know it more than required. Please Help

your game somehow is telling your video drivers to refresh the screen to fast.

sound like a video driver bug with certain resolutions. update video drivers

I have the latest xp drivers for video sound and system but i cant find one for the monitor . i have plug and play capable but it still says default for the monitor. a couple places says that might be the problem so if anyone knows where i can get a gateway ev700 driver for xp please notify ive already tried replacing all other drivers and nothing works
