Could someone please help me. I was on WinMx and I decided to rename all of my movie files in the "shared files" section so as to put them in alphabetical order. (All of the files automatically opened with WMP). After I finished renaming them, I found that they had all converted from Media to something else. When I check a movie file in properties it says under "Type of File": just "File". (not Video Clip or any other media file). And under "Description", it just gives the movie title. Now Win Mx does not recognize these files as anything and therefore it appears that I am not sharing anything. How do I convert these back to avi. files or media files. I tried AllConverter, but it only converts one media file into another. I don't know what this new file is because under file type it just says "File", and rather than having the WMP symbol on it, it has the Windows Logo on a Page with folded corner....Help someone...is there a simple way of just undoing what I did? Thanks for any help!
