I had two HDs. C drive has WinMe and D drive has XP Pro. Took out D drive and left the C drive. When I boot up, I am prompted to choose between the two OS. XP Pro is the priority OS so I have to manually choose Windows Me. How can I get rid of the dual boot and leave Windows Me as the only OS?

You will need to edit the boot.ini so only the string that points to the OS you want remains. If theres only 1 OS string then you won't be prompted to choose.

The boot.ini is a hidden file, you will need to show hidden files and folders...

Once you show hidden files you can either do a search for it or you can find it in the main directory of C:\

Be careful editing this file, I'd make a backup or print out its contents before making any changes.
