I have just had to replace the battery on my works Compaq deskpro 2000, I now have to set the date and time settings in BIOS but how do I enter the BIOS settings? No screen saying hit del to enter setup apears, does anyone know what could be the problem? Is it just the way the operating system is set or something to do with the software installed. I have tried every combination of keys to get in with no success. Hany help would be appreciated. We have Windows 95 os and I think from memory dos 6.2 and at start up I get the date and time not set hit F1 or F2 also 2 long beeps then 2 more long beeps and 2 quick short beeps. I then get a F1 to continue loading Windows. I have been in BIOS with other computers but this defies all logic. Please help.
