I am running a home network with 3 comp. Using a LinkSys 4 port Router and a cable modem.

My daughter has recently down loaded Grokster on my computer and then uninstalled it. However it seemed to leave alot of junk on my desktop so I ran Spybot and Adaware along with scanning it with AVG. When I ran Spybot it told me that I may need to run Spybot on Startup to delete an object. I did so and during the scan a small window popped up saying repairing network drivers. Since then I am unable to access the internet with this computer.

I have reset cable Modem and Router but it still fails to connect. The Device Manager reports that the network card is working properly.

I have pinged www.yahoo.com but nothing....

Does anyone have any suggestions what I may Try next?

Thank You,
CVanEtten

Can you access the other computers on the network? Have you tried uinstalling the network drivers and reinstalling them?

Yes I can access the other computers but not the internet. I haven't tried reinstalling my network drivers. I guess that might be the thing to do next.

Thanks

try this at a command prompt
netsh int ip reset <logfile>
logfile is the name of the logfile it will create, reset.txt will do.
