hii
i'm in grade 11 and this is regarding an important physics project where i need to build a device/ transporter ( I’m GUESSING that it should be something like a car) this device has to move and have a displacement of 5m north at least and it can obtain its energy to move only form a rubber band and nothing else. There should be NO external forces that will help the device to move. The object should remain on the surface (its a carpet in this case) throughout its journey. i think that this is sort of like a mouse trap car bbut exactly.so if u have any knowledge, suggestions or adive plz reply
Thank u
Amrita

I built a car out of 2 sheets of paper, 4 note cards, 1 straw, 4 paper clips, and 2 rubber bands long ago... it travelled about 20 ft, would something like that meet your requirements? it's propeller driven
