I am a HUGE fan of Online RPGs. I'm getting a list together, and I'm going to be starting up an MMORPG website.

I need a list of them to get started with.

Here are some of the best ones I've found.

Nexus: Kingdom of the Winds (www.nexustk.com)
DarkAges (www.nexon.net)
Ultima Online (duh)
Everquest (yet again, duh)
Diablo II (do I really need to tell you? god)

As you can see, I need some more GOOD MMORPGS. Not stupid little text adventure games with commands that go as far as: north, south, east, west, attack.

Thanks.

As long as you're considering MMORPGs, include two more:

Asheron's Call
Anarchy Online

Not saying they are better than the other choices, but I think those two round up the whole MMORPG lineup worth considering...

Braahhgghhg! That game SUCKS ASS. It's laggy, boring, and nothing ever happens.

Only good games please :p

Asheron's call, oooh hell yeah! I'll download a bootlegged version of it tonight. ;)

www.neo-modus.comWhatever you do on your free time is none of our business, but we would just like to remind you that OTS.Net is totally against pirated software and will close/delete any discussions that promote its distribution in this particular forum. Thank you ;)

It's not a bootlegging program, it's a file sharing program.
*sigh*
You can actually find a lot of useful applications on there, most of which are 100% legal. :P

Pirated software is considered as software you use but didn't purchase or obtain legally. Doesn't matter if you used a "legal" file-sharing program to transmit bootlegged copies of games (you even said so yourself that you're gonna get a bootlegged version of AC). If the commercial software you're using was not purchased anywhere, then it's bootlegged.

As I said, any sort of file-sharing you do outside these forums is none of our business, as long as it stays out ;)

it is a means of distributing pirated goods. just because there are some legal programs on those distribution things that doesnt mean that their primary use is not illegal. napster or anyother program that promotes the sharing of copyrighted material is piracy software no matter what the semantics they use to hide the facts its still piracy.

This is stupid. Let's just quit this now. Even though the program was talking about is 100% legal, I'll stop for the benefit of this forum, and I don't like people nagging at me because I use a file sharing program.

I just got one more comment. :P
Napster was a very good thing. People listen to music for free. It's supposed to be about the music, not the money. I think it's sick that multi-millionaire artists had their music taken off napster because they wanted more money.

Any further posts on this subject will be ignored by me.

P.S. The wonderful world of "backup copies" is my favorite place to be.

what do u do for a living?? whatever u do, it should be free to all and u shouldnt get paid since it is about whatever u do not the money.... napster is stealing simple and plain. copyrighted material is not free and it is illegal to distribute copyrighted material whether the distributer is making money or just giving it away. napster is the equivelant of shoplifting. it is no different than walking into any store and taking goods just because a few folk think that everything should be free.
