What's everyone's favorite Japanese style fighting and or adventure game?

Haven't really played any oriental "martial arts" games on the PC ... unless you consider the old game Karate-Ka, which was pretty nice in its full EGA/CGA glory...

the real thing is better. i dont like karate, to weak from what i hear;) . but i would probally get my ass kicked by someone that was good at it and not just claimed to be "all that". i do have alot of respect for those people that actually do go out and stick with whatever style they are into even if it is a style that i dont like. as for myself, i cant wait until i become a black belt in taekwon-do. Fred got me into it and i love it. next week i get my green belt and i cant wait. tekken is the best fighting game hands down, nothing even comes close to it, well soul calibur is sweet but it's not the tecnical master piece that is tekken. :rolleyes:

The last one I played was a Commodore 64 game called Ye ar Kung Fu..hehe That was about 15 years ago.

Although I guess that doesn't count since Ninjas are of Japanese origin unlike Kung Fu which is Chinese..hehe

Check out Tenchu and Tenchu 2, they're both great game. They're for Playstation, but If you get a good emulator for your PC, they play INCREDIBLE on anything with a good gfx card and lots of ram. :D

There is a mod for Half-Life coming out called Bushido (http://www.planethalflife.com/bushido). Looking forward to trying that out.
