Alright, I just recently connected my two comp's with a crossover cable. Playing UT-GOTY everything was fine. Then my friend brought over his comp because he wanted to play with a higher resolution. (My old comp was slow...) However, playing against him my system "stutters", isn't as smooth as it should be. Dropping the relsolution and other options had no effect. Playing single player, even with everything on high and 16 bots, my system ran perfectly.
He has two network cards so we tried both, same thing. Didn't matter who served.
My systems were running Win2K. He runs WinXP. That's the only thing I can think of that would be problem, but don't know why. And I have no idea how to solve it... :(
I'm currently downloading the 436 patch. But seeing as how my system ran fine before, I don't have confidence it'll change anything.
