Ok heres what im runnin on
Pentium3
128mb ram
Nvidia TNT2 Ultra(specs say this:S3 ViRGE-DX/GX PCI (375/385)
Creative SB Live! Value
and Win98
Ok i installed d2 exp pack it works fine for about 3mins then i get the error and d2 closes. Regular d2 seems to work fine when i only install that...but i want to play my exp pack :(
I updated my video drivers to the newest version and downloaded Direct X 8.Well that didnt work so i tried older drivers
the 5.22 i think it was,nope that didnt work either then i updated my sound card drivers and it still crashes!! Ne one have some tips for me??

Did you do the full install? Try that if you didn't already. Also, what chipset do you have? If it's a VIA APollo Pro, then grab the latest VIA 4 in one drivers. www.viatech.com
Blizzard has a support page on this error. Check www.battle.net and look in the D2 section. If nothing there helps, check our help guide for this error here (http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1387).
Post back if you're still having trouble.

I did full install.I tried disabling the 3d sounds didnt work then i tried using direct draw(lagged like hell) still dodnt work.
now im gettin some error that says
UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:
FLT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO(c000008e)
whats that supposed to mean?
*edit* checked my drivers and they werent 5.22 does ne one have a working link for them i tried the link at that page u posted and its a no go.

I think that's the error you get when you click on their feet. It's a bug in the game. No kidding.
Search the forums for "divide by zero" to see the solution.

Kane is right. A divide by zero error is a pure programming fault. This one is all Blizzards fault and nothing can fix it short of avoiding your feet, or installing a game patch. Check our news periodically for news about Diablo 2 patch releases. Currently they haven't fixed it.
