Does anyone else here have Max Payne? if you dont, its worth buying. its an fps game with a tombraider view on the character, normally i dont like games where you see the char from behind, but this one is an exception
remember the matrix where they use that "bullet time" stuff, where they dodge bullets and things like that? thats what you can do here too. nothing cooler then jumping around a corner in slowmotion and shoot everyone before they even had time to react.
I was doing pretty good in the first level untill I hit the wrong button and went flying around a corner (in slowmotion) and there was a guy with a shotgun waiting for me....BOOM! :)

It has some major problems with the ATI RADEON 64DDR vivo. Weird flickering of the graphics in triangular patterns, and I am running the newest drivers. Hmmm....maybe I should have waited before jumping on the bandwagon so soon...going to have to wait for a patch I guess...maybe this should be a rant....games that takes ages to come out, because hardware keeps changing, and then when it does...it doesn't work as advertised....sigh...shakes head at the current games industry.
Update: It works fine in software T&L.

This game kicks ass. There is a patch out chako... don't know if you have it or not.
Man... game runs fast too. Then again... my super computer might be the cause of that :)

I'm not an FPS gamer, but I'm still exited about the realistic physics used in the game.

Yes Nova, got the patch. I must admit...I can't see a different between hardware T&L and software T&L. It does run fast though, and I have everything maxed out...awesome game.
I do have to learn to dodge bullets better though....The bad characters are going to start laughing at me soon if I don't.:D

if you really suck at it, the game becomes easier, when you're really good at it, it becomes harder
at least that's what it says in the readme...

Ok, I am quickly getting better in this game...just needed some practice with the sloooow moooo stuff.
Oddly enough..all my video card problems seemed to have disappeared. Very weird...everything now works ok....maybe a bug at the beginning of the game. Either that or the game and my hardware had to feel themselves out a little. It crashed my computer 3 times, had to press the reset button, then everything fell into place…
BTW, this game is impressive. It has an awesome story line, and it feels like your in a movie...A definite recommend if you like action games.

Yes, I got this game yesterday. Didnt really want to, didnt look very cool but my friend all but begged me to buy it and said if I didnt like it he would eventually buy it off of me.
He aint getting it :)
I have the vivo 64DDR Radeon and had ONE crash, now the game runs like silk. The slow motion is AWESOME especially with the shotgun pellets wizzing by your head, and if you get a headshot while doing the slow dive, KICKASS. I normally dont go for these kinds of games, but this thing rocks.
Im being tempted! Damn, 6 more days till the next check..
