My Diablo 2 play disk cd has a crack in it..going right through..

I just bought the game, then i had avirus on my comp so i had to reinstall everythign or something like that, so i did it all and then tried to reinstall diablo II and the expansion...but then it all just froze and i was wondering like wtf, and then i took the cd out and see this crack in it going right through. My mom won't let me get a new one, well i haven't even told her since it's new and she'll get pissed and shit but like i just bought it and i always put it back in the case when im done with it, some help please.

Ps: I don't really wanna put water and shit on it may even wreck it more then it is...cuz i loved the game and was just getting used to it.. :(
