I have a crack in my Diablo II play disk! Help please!

I just bought diablo II and the expansion disk, and then i had a virus on my computer so i reinstalled windows and then went to resintall diablo II then i got an error, i dunno why at first but then when i actually checked the cd it had this crack going right through it so it couldn't install it!

It's the D2char.mpq bit and it would take like ages to download and shit so i don't wanna do that..and like i cannot buy one because my mom wouldn't let me even though i haven't told her...lol but still she'd probably get angry at me saying i don't look after my shit and stuff like this! help please

If you just bought it, go and return it to the store and get another one.

I would suggest that if it is under waranty you return it to the store and exchange it if you can't then the company that made the game (not sure if blizard would be the one to call but I think they are) and they may be able to send you a new copy.
