need for speed underground game problem

i just installed the game in my pc. but wont be able to play it. everytime i open the game my cursor will became a 1cm x 1 cm window with the same graphics as what my monitor is showin.

i know its not the graphic cards because im runnin two ea sport racing software (moto GP & F1 racing)
without any problem.

anybody knows how to shake the problem ???

in addditon to the first post...when i insert the game cd and starting to play..... the demo graphics are all runnin well . its just when i was about to play or like seeting up the games like choosin my car... thats where my problem starts...graphics are kinda unusual and i cant even read the text too. text is showin like a squared letter only...

hope to get a quick solution to this problem..
