SysUpd.exe - DLL Failed to Initialize. Application failed to initialize because windo

I recently encountered a problem with my PC which had never happen before. Recently, each time that I restart or shutdown my PC, a certain error message pops-up on my screen as "SysUpd.exe - DLL Failed to Initialize. Application failed to initialize because windows station is shutting down." Does anyone know how do I resolve this problem?

For your info, I am running a Pentium 4 2.0 ghz using Windows 2000 Server. I have 256 MB of RAM. I am connected to the Internet through a Cable connection. If there are any
other details you feel are important, please feel free to ask.

there seems to be both spyware and norton versions of that file. if you dont have norton, you have the former.
norton: uninstall (you will need a special uninstall program from their site to do this) and reinstall/reupdate

spyware: if the link below doesnt remove it, do a search for it, and manually remove it.
