I am wonderig if anyone has any clues or suggestions. Currently we have a network of PCs that are coming up with NTLDR missing. After further investigation not only was the NTLDR missing but also NTDETECT.COM has also missing. The only thing that our network has caught is that a few of the machines have been unsuccessfully attacked with a form of NETBUS which always gets caught and quarrantined by Symantec. Any ideas out there? this is something that is happening to a few of the machines even after the drives have been completely zeroed.
