I have several computers on a network which shares a cable connection using a Netgear RT314 Router.
Is there any way that 2 or more of the computers can go on battle.net at once joining each others games without having to obtain a new IP for the other machines. My ISP is OptimumOnline and they dont provide additional IP addresses I believe.
Is there any way I could get around this so that atleast 2 machines could go on battle.net and play together? Thanks for any suggestions!

I also have a NetGear RT314. The answer is no.
You can play with each other locally and off of battlenet. But, both of your computers cannot play on bnet. I haven't tried it and don't plan on it, but I don't even think you can use chat clients on each machine.
It's not the router. It's the nature of the Battlenet servers and games played on it. I haven't heard of any game that will do what you are asking without unique internet assigned IP addresses.

Many thanks for your answer. When I was on DSL, and both machines logged on...they could not see each other. When I switched over to Cable... they were able to see each other and talk to each other.
I found that a bit odd.
But you mentioned Off Battle.net? What other options are there?
I know there is a Broodwars.net....but I assumed that they emulated the battle.net server.
I also assume there is Kali, but I have not tried that. Are you aware of any other legitimate ways?
Again, thanks for your time=)

Sorry. I worded it wrong. I meant playing in a LAN setting with IPX (off bnet).
