C&C Generals router issue

Hi there, i've read the posts here and i got my C&C generals to work just fine online with my router, i opened all the ports and its great. The big issue now is i can see lots of games and i can play just fine but i cannot see my friends games i just bought this game for one purpose to play with my friend and kick his A$$ but i cannot do so because whenever he creates i can't see his game or the other way around and he doesn't have a router. I can see other games and play them fine just cant see his. Any ideas?

not sure if this'll help, but i heard that if you turn off the built-in firewall in XP, it helps out a lot of games because it sucks so bad. I would try that and see if it helps.

Nope i don't even have my firewall in xp on i always keep it off. So it has to do with a router setting im missing cuz i dont see how i can see all the other ppl but him and it is a router problem for sure cuz i tested it i unplugged my router and it works!

Try going to a different lobby than the one the game is in, then go back and see if it's there. That actually works alot better than the refresh fuction they have. Also, sometimes the game appears all the way on top of the list, and sometimes it's in the right alphabetical place, (somewhere more down the list).
