This has been going on for several months. Now I have another piece to the puzzle. I just rebuilt my system. I replace the MB, Processor, memory, HD's and Video card. My MB is ASUS 7m266, Athlon 1.2gb processor, 266mb PC2100 ddr ram, Elsa Gladiac Ultra Video, SB Live, Maxtor Ata100 HD's, Windows 2000 pro. In diablo 2 which I posted I was getting the Unhandled Exception Error. Game would lock the system or just dump me into Windows. Now I installed Novalogic Delta Force Land warrior. I am now getting same thing. Access Violation Exception and the game dumps me back to windows. I have attached a sysdump.txt file that the game produces if anyone can tell what it means. I have a second one with the same error. Different memory address. I have the latest Video Nvidia drivers. Latest Sound card drivers. 2000 is patched with update 2. I am sure whatever is causing this is the same for both. So if anyone can give me some clue...I would be eternally grateful. Please, I am sure this will happen in all games so its a matter of life and death. Thanks a whole lot.

Do you have the latest AMD Northbridge as well as the latest driver for your VIA 686b SouthBridge? I know the latest VIA patch adresses issues with the southbridge and the soundblaster Live cards.

Setting your AGP settings to normal mode in your CMOS may improve stability as well if the above doesn't help.
