virus program will not uninstall or install????????

Gatta bug. I have AVG6 free ver. Worked well, till something....It started to shut it'self down. The first error mess I got was the language file fail to execute. Promting me to uninstall and reinstall. The prog won't setup cause it says its still installed. Registry keeps closeing also. I can't find the "AVG" entry to delete. Not because it shuts down but rather it doesnt exist there.
I think I gatta cold or even worse.

then download, UPDATE, and run the program at http://security.kolla.de

if avg still wont install or uninstall, manually delete it, then run a registry cleaner.
