Hey guys, long time no post. Been busy :D
Anyways, on to the problem. I have two machines networked, one with Windows XP Pro and the other with Windows 98 SE. The internet connection is on the XP machine. Problem is, I have ICS set up, but the only site that the Win98 machine loads is Google. All other pages simply refuse to show up.
Things attempted:
1. Reformatting the 98 machine
2. Using Mozilla
3. Turning down ZA firewall settings, and even shut it down for a short while.
4. Pinging various addresses. The only thing that I can ping from the 98 machine is the XP machine; pinging google does not get a response (not sure if it should through XP)
5. Virus and spybot scan found no problems before reformat of the 98 machine.
Google near-instantly and retains full functionality (can search, images, directories) but as soon as I try to go outside of the Google range, nothing loads. Thanks in advance
