i came across this thing on the ad panel to the left of this forum, on the website it claims
" - Easily fixes annoying errors that cause problems with your PC
- Fix corrupt files hidden deep in your computer
- Prevent hidden errors on your PC from causing harm
- Avoid reformatting and common reboot errors easily"
has any one else used this thing before? and how effective is it? just curious

"You will not believe how common it is for an average PC to have 200 or more errors. When you install/uninstall software a lot of programs leave trash laying around on your pc. Old shortcuts to non existent programs, redundant files, invalid application paths."
its a registry cleaner for the most part. theres tons of freeware and shareware cleaners that do the same.

but what i don't understand is, how can registry that's left from other programs after you install them can cause your computer to crash?

it only does that if theres enough broken paths (or a critical one) to tie up the system in looking for it. most of them are perfectly harmless, but the occasional important one can cause problems.

Has anyone out there managed to get any reply/acknowledgement to a PCBugDoctor support request ?
I have been trying for over a month now - still nothing.
The company website variously refers to an e-mail address of both pcbugdoctor AND pcbugdr - but my e-mails to these two get returned as undeliverable.
I have even tried the only other address that I can locate - 'postmaster@maximumsoftwaresupport.com' - but still nothing.
Has anyone else had similar experiences
