Pardon me for asking, but did you buy the game and use the CD-key that was on the CD jewel case?
If you did buy it legally, then someone may have had access to your CDkey, or you may have given it out on battle.net to those spammers who are scamming people with "/message me with your CDKEY" thing:

In any case, someone is using your CDkey when you tried to log on. Write down the name of the person who is allegedly using your CDkey, and report it to Blizzard here:

This is only if you are using a legit CDkey from your CD case ...

I checked out this - There is a number of brute force key gens available at some less that respectable websites. If sombody has used this they may have registered your key at random. Doesn't it report who is using you key?
Possibilty 1.
But . . . I've had this problem myself, I bought a copy of halflife Gold edition which did the self same thing. I contacted the company and they said I might be running a pirated copy. As far as I was concerned it was legit so I emailed them back and offered to send them my copy, which I did.
It turns out that exact copies of halflife were being made in China. Everything was perfectly identical to the real thing box book everything except for the same cd key was printed on every disk.
Possibility 2
The other trick nerferious characters use is to go to the shops and open the box and copy the cd key down. It's also been known for shop employees to copy games and use the cd keys (Nah! it would never happen LOL)
Possibiity 3
So there you have it. Select whichever possibility suites you.
