After playing d2.. I find my fun in characters by upgrading my mules.
I enjoy this by creating diverse means.
I believe I had the ONLY cracked clubazon on b.net that actually made it to level 16 (was the one I was using to get the amazon's blue set, vindala something).
I tend to just put every point into a spell or two and every attribute into mana.
also, I keep selling my equipment every time I return to town, only keeping explosive/poison potions, gems, keys, scrolls, and the other stuff I mule.
The only equipment I don't sell are Self Reparing, or ones that give bonuses to mana/energy.
I have more fun building theese characters than I do playing my high level ones.
thus, I won't vote on this poll.

Funnest? The former English Major Shalome recoils in horror from the word "funnest," but hey, I understand :)
Assassin by FAR is the most interesting character class. I must admit, I have little experience with a Druid, although my s/o has a lot of luck with that class.
Barbarian is too hack-and-slash for my taste. Necro is too spell-oriented. Sorc is too weak physically for long-term game play, especially if you're a loner like myself and don't enjoy party-play. Paladin class tries to balance spells and physicality, but doesn't quite make it on either. Amazon is approaching balance, but still is too hack-and-slash at times, too spell-oriented at others. Depends on your skill set, I suppose.
Assassin combines mystical skills with some serious Jackie Chan style ass kicking. :) Ya gotta love it.
