Return the game to where you bought it and get another one. If its pirated, then too bad.

... how could someone send you another unless they bought a copy of the game and never played/made an account with it. I thought the CD keys were tagged with accounts.

Some stores will take it back if the cdkey is no good, like Kmart, Walmart, etc.

Actually, it would probably be better to call EQ support and tell them its not working. I think they can check it to see if its already registered or if its not valid at all. Then go from there. That is if its a legit one and not pirated. I always laugh when people try and pirate MMO games.
