I bought a bad version of Diablo 2 and the files required for Battle.net and Full install aren't able to be brought off the disc. Could someone post a link to their D2 files? I need all the mpq files that come from Diablo 2 (not the expansion) just in case. Please and thanks.

Hello.

Could you please include the exact error message you are recieving when trying to install Diablo II? What exact file name(s) are/is missing?

Usually when you buy something that's broken, you take it back to the store for a replacement. Tried that yet?

Matt.M, its not that files are missing, its just that they're corrupted. When I do the multiplayer install, it gets through the single player files fine, but when it tells me to insert the play disc, it gets about half way through and stalls. Forcing me to restart my computer.

Go [url=http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mdb0389p]download the latest patch for the game from Blizzard, install it, and then try installing the game again.

Make sure your discs aren't scratched or dirty.

The link that Shalome posted isn't actually the link to the Diablo II patch page, it's the link to the Diablo patch page. Here's the Shalome intended for you to go to:

Now that I think about it, if you can't even get the game installed, why would you want a link to the latest patch anyway?

If you got a "bad" copy of the game when you bought it, ask the place you bought it from for a replacement. I doubt that anyone is going to upload those files somewhere for you to download.

Blizzard's disc replacement info can be found here:
