Hi. I just tried updating my audio drivers and something went wrong. Im not exactly sure what kind of sound card I have. When I go to control pannel -> system it has under Sound, video, and game controllers 3 things: PCI Multimedia Audio device ; Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 or compatible (WDM) ; and Wave device for Voice Modem. Now after installing Creative SB Live! Value drivers for the PCI Multimedia Audio device my sound wont work and I dont know whats wrong. Any help would be much appreciated.

Starting from the easy part make sure that your speaker is not muted by the Operation System.
Make sure that the audio card is correctly inserted.
Normally you would have some a Mixer program wich gives you control
on input/output audios.
Via the device manager you can uninstall the audio driver and when you restart the PC (Operation Sysetem) it will detect new device and try to load driver for it. In the worst senario remove the audio card, shut down the PC, start the pC without the audio card, shut down the PC and start the PC with the audio card, ( sorry the repeats, just trying to keep the text as simple as possible).
Also visit the manufacturer's homepage for forther help via FAQ.
Sometimes it takes a whoile to get these systems working, but you will do it. :)

One thing that still could be better though is that when I minimize games and things the sound still plays. Is there anyway I could get to some options to change that? (It didnt do this before)

Normally you would have somekind Mixer program wich gives you control on input/output audios. You could try adjustments via the speaker icon on task bar, double click it and you should get play control.
If the game that you play has separate audio settings try adjusting them, modern games have different adjustments for video and audio.
