Approximately every 10 seconds my computer freezes for just a split second and then its normal. This is a minor annoyance but still annoying. I have a Dell pentium III 512mb Ram 1 Ghz processor. If anyone could help I'd be very much appreciative. Ive already updated my video drivers, and run a thorough scandisk, checked for spyware and adware, checked for viruses and defragged. Id be very appreciateive if anyone could please help.

This may help isolate the problem:

Thanks, I downloaded and have been running the program and it is helpful in letting me know whats running. I also discovered something interesting. I tried closing some programs using ctrl+alt+delete yesterday and found out that if i close this one program called "szntsvc" the freezes stop and everything runs fine. Does anyone know what this program does and if I can delete it?

I think that file is associated with a pop up stopper called Stopzilla (no relation to Mozilla browser).
Uninstall it and reboot (delete any associated files) and use the Google Toolbar instead (my opinion).
I don't use IE except for Windows Update. Mozilla is my browser of choice. It stops pop ups natively.
