I am at the end of my tether with this pc now, am hoping someone can help!
Recently have been suffering loads of blue screens, no particular error, just crashes for no reason and either reboots or ends at a blue screen where it says 'beginning physical dump of memory'.
Now at the very first boot up screen when it checks the memory, it takes ages to do it then says 'memory fail' press f1 to continue.
Also am unable to load on the sound drivers after a format as it says I do not have access to that file (I am administrator).
Also there are 3 'program file' folders and about 8 'windows' folders in my hard drive - the first folders are named correctly but the rest are like gobbledegook, ie 'pro%gram*file#s' etc.
Have done all windows updates and ran mcafee virusscan, am running mcafee firewall and have done a spybot search as well.
Can anyone please help???
