Microsoft has changed it's mind and decided to let Kodak in on the digital photography software within Windows XP.
Some details:
Under the pact, Microsoft will clearly label its built-in photo software, while ensuring that Kodak cameras work easily with Windows XP, the next generation of Windows software that powers some 90 percent of all desktop PCs.
Kodak said Microsoft will modify menus within Windows XP to allow consumers to see multiple third-party photo software packages when they attach a digital camera to their computers.
