Does anyone on these boards in the IT/Medical field? I'm looking for a comprehhensive checklist/guide to making sure all of the medical offices that our company manages is HIPAA complaiant. Especially the wireless networking. I've done a google search and read a lot of things that WEP is not enough, WPA is not enough, need firewalls etc. but I'm not sure what exactly is law. Thank you so much for your help.

You realize that just by attempting to garner that information off a public forum, you could be held accountable for lack of due diligence if anything ever happened that involved this kind of thing.
AKA: You could be personally sued and/or charged.

The compliance I speak of does not go into affect until next year.
That could have been sent in a private message, rather than trying to embarass me on the forums. I will never post on these boards again. Time after time I've posted on the boards for help and I get "some other" answer that has nothing to do with my problems. Please delete my account if possible. I will never come to this site again.

I can't believe a 550 poster would drop so fast, if he left so crude well, I'm not crying for him.

His number of posts has little to do with dedication to visiting a message board.

You could have also asked it in a PM. You would have gotten the same answer.
