An article (http://www.osopinion.com/perl/story/12796.html) at osOpinion.com doubts the success of Microsoft's Xbox.
The article postulates the idea that Microsoft should be afraid of training game console developers in the PC arena. Isn't it always easier to install patches and add-ons to a PC rather than a console? Console developers have always been required to make sure their game works well before it is rushed out the door. The same can't always be said for PC game developers.
The PlayStation 2 will already be deeply entrenched into the public. I'd rather buy the game for my computer than a console with nothing to be gained over a PS2.
