A new poll after **** months! :D

Anyway, short and simple... what type of portable music player do you use? It can be anything from the popular MP3 players or the old (and probably obsolete) cassette walkmans. So let us know how wired you are!

OMG, a poll...

Last thing I had was a portable cd player, but I haven't used it in years now. So, I don't use any of that yuppie crap. Unless car radios count...

Muvo Creative Mp3 player - 512 MB, plus FM, and I use it as a jump drive half the time too. Love the little guy - best $120 I ever spent (along with an external HD and a GameCube).

Sandisk 256MB Mp3 player. Got it for around $50. Works great. I usually encode the music down to like... 64Kbps or somethin' 'cause I play it in my pickup. Doesn't make any difference at a higher bitrate (through a tape adapter and stock speakers that sometimes crackle).

Rio Karma 20gb... some say it looks square and plasticy... some say the fact you cant use it as a usb harddrive is just stupid.... some say the customer support totally sucks. I say rock on rio!! (and yes from my personal experience the customer support is tragic to say the least)

I have a SanDisk sansa e130 that can hold 512 MD and has an SD memory card slot for expansion. Battery takes forever to die and it came with a $20 pair of headphones. Plus it looks exactly like an iPod. :)

Actually, I won me a combo MP3/radio player at some site. I'm just still waiting for the SD Memory card to come in so I can finally play more than 4 tracks on it. I'm still gettin' a combo MP3/Video Player, like iRiver, which was my original goal, but for the time being, I can deal with a gig of music to work with.
