Hey hey hey, guess what - another worthless poll! :D
But the results of this poll can be very useful to me in optimizing the site ... so you know what to do :p

I love worthless polls :)
I use 1280x960.
1280x1024 is stretched.

I use 1280 x 1024 also on the 17"
my next resolution supported (1600 x 1200) is ridiculous. Need a magnifier to see the text.

I used to use 1152 x 864 all the time. I used PCAnywhere a lot to connect to work on a 1024 x 768 system. I don't use PCAnywhere anymore. Netmeeting rules.
Lately, I been using 1024 x 768 to reduce monitor switching when I start games.

I use 1024x768 because all the games I play are at that resolution. D2 is at 800x600 but I play it windowed. 1024 has so much more space anyways.

I tried using 1600x1200 (and higher) resolution on my 21-incher, but it's a pain in the ass when designing pages, coz I can't get a reliable/accurate estimate on how it would appear on lower resolutions ...

1280 x 1024 = desktop
1400 x 1050 = laptop

*adjusts bifocals*
1024x768 on a minimum of 17" monitor gets me text that I can read w/o the addition of a magnifying glass.

Well on my desktop I have a 19" Sony monitor so with the desktop cranked and clear type fonts turned on it looks great.
My laptop has a 15" screen and actually supporst resolutions much higher than that. Yeah the print is small, but it looks really good.
I started with both of them at 1024 x 768 but after going to a higher resolution that is what I'm used to.
I do play all of my games at 1024 x 768 though.

1280x1024x32 for the longest time
but after I got the 19" earlier this year, I migrated to 1600x1200x32
can't use anything less now.
800x600 on a crappy 15in monitor with a crappy computer.
I tried going to 1024x768 but the colors on the monitor went weird for a couple hours:o
on my decent computer with a 17in monitor- I go with 1024x768

19" monitor, and sometimes I go to 1600x1200 but my dad complains that he can't read things. (he likes 800x600)

I cant use 800x600 makes me feel blind. I tried 1600 x 1200 but everything was stretched and distorted. I have higher settings, but crappy monitor holds me back..... oh well

Well since this thread has bumped back up...
Ive started using 1152x864. Its actually a good resolution for my monitor. 2 big reasons I switched: Bigger Screen(duh) and my refresh rate is higher too, which is a plus in my book. Vertical is the same(100hz) but Horizontal is 91.5khz, in 1024x768 my horizontal was 85.4khz.

1024x768x32 on 19"
I don't have a lot of crap on my desktop, and a higher res hurts my eyeballs.
